Student Assistance Program (SAP)

SAP is a group of school personnel trained in a systematic process to identify students who are experiencing barriers to learning.  SAP is a state mandated program for all public schools in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

SAP is:

• An Identification Program
• An Intervention Program
• A Support Program
• A Referral Program

SAP is NOT:

• A Counseling Program
• A Discipline Program
• A Drug Program
• A Treatment Program
